Privacy policy

What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone and password hash when you register.
- Claim data: the evidence you submit, including work email, phone, tax registration and any documents.
- Enquiry data: the details you supply when contacting a business or posting a requirement.
- Usage data: page views and aggregate interaction counts. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Business listing information
- Information about businesses is compiled from public sources and from the businesses themselves. In most jurisdictions publicly published business contact information is not personal data, but we honour removal requests from verified owners regardless.
How we use it
- To operate the directory, review claims, route buyer enquiries to the businesses they are addressed to, and prevent abuse.
- Your contact details are passed only to the specific business you contacted, or to suppliers matched to a requirement you posted. We do not sell contact data.
Payments
- Card details are handled entirely by Razorpay or Stripe. We store only the payment identifier, amount, currency and status. We never see or store card numbers.
Retention
- Account and claim records are retained while the account is active and for seven years afterwards where required for tax and dispute purposes. Enquiry records are retained for two years.
Your rights
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing. Write to privacy@furniturestores.online.
- Where GDPR or the Indian DPDP Act applies, those rights are honoured within the statutory timeframe.
Cookies
- One essential cookie holds your signed-in session. A local browser preference stores your light or dark theme choice. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
